For over 70 years, Safety NL has been a leader in safe driver education.  We provide comprehensive training for beginners which consists of 25 hours of in-class and/or online instruction with 10.5 hours of in-car instruction, which includes your road test time. We teach safety first, and while we are at it, you get your driver’s licence.

Private lessons are available. We provide pick-up and drop-off service for the in-car instruction. In the Metro St. John’s Region, we also provide in-car instruction in Ukrainian, Polish and Russian.

Safety NL provides several different driving courses that are designed to help you, your family, or even your employees stay safe on the road.  We also provide courses that are required in order to reduce the points on your driving record or if you have lost your license.

Safety NL provides the ONLY nationally recognized motorcycle training program in the province.  The Canada Safety Council Gearing Up program is a comprehensive and safety-oriented training program that provides the highest quality training by seasoned professionals.  We provide a variety of motorcycle models.  You need only bring your riding gear and your enthusiasm.

Safety NL is a leader in ATV, UTV, and Snowmobile safety training in Newfoundland and Labrador, focused on enhancing safety for both work and recreational purposes. Courses, lasting 6.5 to 8 hours, are taught by instructors certified nationally by the Canada Safety Council and offer a structured and enjoyable approach to learning safe off-road vehicle operation based on field-tested techniques.

Safety NL offers comprehensive occupational health and safety training throughout the province, delivered by certified professionals. Courses can be tailored to specific site requirements, drawing from over thirty years of experience in providing province-wide onsite training. These courses meet your regulatory needs, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
